Dr. Hornkohl serves as Language Teaching Officer & Senior Research Associate in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Cambridge, where he is also a fellow of Girton College. He serves as an adjunct faculty member of Whole Word Institute. He is married with three children.

PhD, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, dissertation: “לשון ספר ירמיה ותולדות הלשון העברית [The Language of the Book of Jeremiah and the History of the Hebrew Language]” (2012; revised and translated version, Brill, 2014).
